Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for a Product Development Engineer to add to their talented, hardworking team in Glascoed on an initial 12 month contract. Striving for innovation and creativity you can ensure no two days will be the same. This role will be offering £37.57 per hour inside IR35 / Umbrella

The Role

* Assisting product development and systems engineering activities for new products

* Coordination of product development and related engineering activities

* Configuration and maintenance of Engineering bills of materials for products

* Product development and evaluation e.g. Pugh Matrices, Fault Tree Analysis, Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA)

* Manufacture, test and evaluation of munitions products

You

* Applicants must be able to demonstrate a proven capability in development projects, in particular system integration
* Proven ability to take ownership, prioritise and deliver product Engineering tasks within development projects to ensure completion within agreed timescales and to required standard
* Ability to produce high quality technical reports
* A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and strong IT skills
* A good understanding of project/risk management and the ability to use associated tools and techniques
* Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering (or similar Engineering discipline)
