System Test Engineer

A company that designs and develops medical devices is seeking to recruit a System Test Engineer to work on a contract based in Warwickshire that is initially scheduled for 12 months with hybrid working available. The Role This contract will involve system level test from requirements including test case development. This will include defining test cases for a complex embedded device across fluid, pneumatic, mechatronic and software systems. Delivering system test deliverables for projects you will also lead the development of rigs, fixtures, procedures, methods, data capture and statistical techniques. Plus provide key input to the design to ensure testability of the product, subsystems and components. Key Deliverables Test Design and Implementation Test Case Development Development of rigs, fixtures, procedures, methods, data capture and statistical techniques. Design, evaluate and formally document manual and automated test fixtures and rigs. Construct test cases, specifications, protocols and methods for prototype,integration, verification, validation and reliability test. Development of data capture, data analysis and statistical techniques and tools to enhance test capabilities and efficiency. Participate in design review activities to ensure requirements and designs are testable. Systems Engineer

A company that designs and develops medical devices is seeking to recruit a Systems Engineer (x2) to work on a contract based in Warwickshire that is initially scheduled for 6 months with some hybrid working available. The Role This position will involve hands-on system-level engineering from requirements delivering mechanical, electronic or software systems for complex devices. This will include: * Create systems engineering deliverables following V model lifecycle development and in line with IEC 60601. * Delivery, review, and analysis of systems documentation including feature definition, use cases, stakeholder requirements, system requirements, sub-systems requirements, and modal requirements * Creation and maintenance of Design Definition documents at the system and sub-system level of decomposition. * Eliciting and managing system level requirements, performing requirements analysis, capture and decomposition, through the facilitation of workshops and stakeholder needs sessions. * Ensure all aspects of the development lifecycle, including elements of requirements definition, design implementation, integration, verification, and validation are followed and remain compliant with the approved development process, risk management process and regulatory standards. * Create and maintain traceability reports. Experience Ideal candidates will be experienced Systems Engineers who have worked in a safety critical, regulated industry. Experience of system level test is also of benefit. Test Engineer

A company that designs and develops medical devices is seeking to recruit a Test Engineer to work on a contract based in Warwickshire that is initially scheduled for 12 months with hybrid working available. The Role This contract will involve testing related to all parts of the product development lifecycle working to support the Test Architect. A mixture of hands-on work alongside Laboratory Technician and System Engineers as well as documentation drafting, maintenance, training and execution of test designs and test protocols against agreed technical requirements within the QMS. Delivering system test deliverables for projects you will also lead the development of rigs, fixtures, procedures, methods, data capture and statistical techniques. Plus provide key input to the design to ensure testability of the product, subsystems and components. Key Responsibilities Projects * Delivering system test deliverables to projects, on time and to a high standard. * Working within the Design and Development, Change Management and Project processes. * Coordinate with external test facilities Test Execution and Reporting * To participate in testing activities, including the generation of test execution reports. * Execute and report tests in line with project and test schedules. * Maintain and train others on test methods and protocols. * To maintain existing test tracing to requirements, design and risk items. Experience Ideal candidates will be experienced Test Engineers with experience of working in a medical device / high integrity / safety critical / regulated product type environment. An innovative Medical Device business with a market leading product is looking for a Senior Technical Author to work on a product that really makes a difference to people's lives. This permanent role is available on a hybrid working basis with a split working week between their offices in Warwick (3 to 4 days / week on average) and your home.
