Your main responsibilities as will involve: Developing and implementing new capabilities of the SHE business systems and IT tools, and transitioning from current reporting capability to an intelligence led data analytics system. To explore new technologies and challenging current thinking to support new ways of smarter working to achieve the aims of the department and the business by exploitation of automated reporting capability and dashboard capability. Analyse stakeholder objectives, collate and translate user requirements and wish lists ("As is" and "To Be") into tangible development specifications. Analysis of the impact of changes to existing systems and the addition of new systems on the information solution environment, related devices, processes, procedures, end users and data. Production of configuration managed documentation and to develop business process diagrams including analysis and documentation of system and user requirements including use cases. Support acceptance activities, working closely with test and release functions to ensure that solution acceptance criteria are met. Experience required for this role:- ITIL certification (desired but not essential) Project management Process Design or Improvement Technical knowledge of software delivery process. We have a great new role available in our Data Centre business for a Sales and Solutions Engineer to be responsible for the execution of technical engineering solutions and for this role you will have a great track record in engineering and complex solutions. You will be comfortable dealing with technical clients and C-level executives whilst working with the technical teams internally! The Role: You will be assisting the SVP of Sales and Business Development and the President of Europe with sales activities particularly within the large hyperscale customers. You will design proposal templates with latest schematics, diagrams and features and prepare and deliver technical proposals, design architectural overviews, and assist with customer visits. You will engage in detailed network, power, colling and space assessments of current and proposed environments. You will deliver technical proposals and design architecture documents for electrical and mechanical designs. You: You will have experience in an engineering field, experience of Mechanical and Electrical design, schematics would be ideal. Experience within HVAC design would be an advantage. You will be a strong communicator and experience of CAD systems would be great. We have a great new role available in our first in kind data centre in Europe. We are looking for a Security Systems Engineer to be based in Newport, South Wales. Our Security team is very hands on, they purchase, configure and maintain all networking and server hardware and work closely with partners to keep up to date with technology advancement. The Role: You will be designing, building and maintaining Security infrastructure in a modern data center. You will participate in project management for all security system installations and upgrades, whilst communicating with customer teams to ensure their security expectations are met and maintenance causes minimal disruption. You will manage Automated Access Control Systems, Video Surveillance Systems, low voltage security equipment, CCTV, IP networking and structured cabling. There will also be a secondary side of the role working with customers and internal teams to design security systems for new buildings or customers to include placement of the systems, cameras and call buttons. You: You will have experience of Automated Access Control Systems, Video Surveillance, CCTV and IP networking and experience designing security systems for new buildings and facilities, including the placement of the cameras and call buttons. Ideally you will hold a HNC or BTEC Level 4 or Industry equivalent experience in Information Technology. You will be eligible to possess or able to attain SC clearance within a safety critical site. We are looking for a Software Developer to work in our engineering team focusing specifically on test and validation. The Role: You will be involved in the planning, analysis, development, testing, integration and documentation/ presentation phases of the lifecycle. You will develop test strategies, plans and test cases from the requirements and specifications for testing across different platforms (client, server, cloud) and with a focus on automation. You: Ideally you will have experience of JAVA development and SQL databases with experience of one of more of the following: Postman, SoapUI, ReadyAPI, Selenium, Rocket or Selenide or similar test tools.
