Electrical CAD Designer

I'm recruiting at the moment for an Electrical CAD Designer, to work for a leading company in nuclear engineering solutions. The role will be based from their Warrington office, on a hybrid arrangement (3 days per week in the office). The successful candidate will be working on a variety of projects across civil nuclear construction, decommissioning, and defence, so you must be SC clearable to be eligible for this position. Day to day activities will include creating of designs and drawings at different stages of the design lifecycle, adhering to various standards including nuclear and defence. You will also prepare and maintain project documentation, alongside working with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure the functionality and delivery of designs. The ideal background will be an equipment/project focused EC&I engineer, knowledge of developing documentation alongside design process, and familiarity with any safety regulations/standards. Whilst PLC programming expertise, won't be overlooked it's not a role that will involve software development day-to-day.
