I started my recruitment career at JAM back in 2011 where I began building my experience and learning the ropes within the Engineering Sector, I moved quickly into Contract Recruitment and found my niche within Mechanical and Electrical Engineering amongst many other specialist skills in the Aerospace and Defence sector.
Due to Covid (which feels like a distant memory now!) I ended up taking a different path and set up my own Hypnobirthing Business, which also involved Breastfeeding Support, and Pre and Post-Natal care for mothers and their families. My business was a success in the height of the baby boom but I realised that I needed to utilise my recruitment skills to help pay the bills! It's definitely still a passion of mine and I'm still running the business alongside working at JAM to help those that need my support. I then went on to work full time in Tech Recruitment. It was great to experience a different market, understand permanent recruitment and recruit locally but I returned to JAM so I could move back into the contract market, which I know a lot about and has major growth plans. I just couldn't resist coming back, plus I missed all my old JAM buddies too and it feels great to be back!
