Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for a Procurement Engineer to add to their talented, hardworking team in Samlesbury on an initial 6 month contract. Striving for innovation and creativity you can ensure no two days will be the same. This role will be offering £27.79 per hour travel per hour inside IR35 / Umbrella

The Role:
- Raising Request for Quotations (RFQs) and Request for Information (RFI)s and chasing in responses from Suppliers
- Negotiating prices with supplers
- Working closely with te Performance Procurement team
- Working closely with the bid campaign team to achieve acceptable pricing
- Manage supplier relationships
- Liasing with internal stakeholders to chase dependencies
- Supporting the Value Procurement Team with administrative activities
Skills:
§ Proficient in Microsoft Applications
§ Understanding of procurement capabilities
§ Understanding of sub-contract management
§ Strong communicator who can interact with diverse groups across organisational levels
§ Evidence of working in a team
