My client is a leading manufacturer of custom-made steel door solutions in the Newcastle under Lyme area. They are looking for a Key Account Sales Manager to join them ASAP on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for provide sales support to our existing customers whilst actively source new potential customers.
This is a truly exciting time to join a market leading organisation with aggressive growth plans who are relocating to a brand new site in April 2024 in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
You will be responsible for:
- Making correct set-ups for Punch machine operations
- Communicating with key account customers to ensure opportunities to quote and secure contracts
- Using Sales Database to track and contact existing and potential customers
- Locating and targeting new markets for our products
- Helping prepare customer Estimates for work
- Planning and managing agreed territory according to an agreed market development strategy
- Managing product pricing and margins according to agreed aims
- Monitoring and reporting on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information
- Working on a wide range of projects including larger projects
- Attending site and project meetings at regular stages with key accounts
You:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar sales or account manager role
- 2+ years working with large projects and key customers
- Familiarity with door manufacturing and hardware (desirable)
- Familiarity with modern manufacturing techniques (desirable)
- Full, clean driving license
- A good standard of Maths and English
- Good time management and organisational skills
