Location: Farnborough or Barrow (Hybrid) only 2 days onsite per month at either location.

Duration: 12 Month Contract intially

Rate: £41.08 per hour umbrella

Key Deliverables:

  • Lead the development and implementation of a supply chain sustainability strategy.
  • Develop and implement a range of interventions aligned with the strategy, to improve awareness and deliver environmental value, working in close collaboration with relevant Programmes, Functions and stakeholders in such areas as Net Zero, REACH, RoHS & WEEE controls and Waste Removal & Reduction.
  • Develop and implement a range of interventions aligned with the strategy, to improve awareness and deliver social value, working in close collaboration with relevant Programmes, Functions and stakeholders in such areas as Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Critical Minerals, Eradication & Protection against Modern Slavery and Supplier Diversity.
  • Develop and implement a range of interventions aligned with the strategy, to improve awareness and deliver economic value, working in close collaboration with relevant Programmes, Functions and stakeholders in such areas as Fair Competition & Payment, Local sourcing & Levelling Up and Small to Medium sized Enterprises.
  • Provide training and development to supply chain functional teams and key stakeholders in the area of supply chain sustainability.
  • Inspire and champion the supply chain community through acting as a subject matter expert in the field of supply chain sustainability.

Key Skills / Experience:

  • Good knowledge and recent experience in supply chain sustainability.
  • Good knowledge and recent experience in supply chain management.
  • Supply Chain related experience in relevant role.
  • Sustainability related experience in relevant role.
  • University level education or professional qualifications gained through industry.
  • CILT or MCIPS or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
  • Able to establish and maintain stakeholder relationships within the Business, Sector and Group,
