Duration: 12-month contract (extension and temp to perm possible)

Rate: £28.79/hour (Umbrella) or £21.50/hour (PAYE)

Role Overview

We are looking for a SIAM Change Manager to deliver and oversee the change management process within BAE Systems' Service Integration and Management (SIAM) framework. This is a hands-on role that will involve managing the end-to-end change lifecycle using ServiceNow, chairing CAB meetings, and collaborating with both internal teams and external suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver the IT Change Management function across the SIAM organisation
  • Use ServiceNow (including CAB Workbench and reporting dashboards) to track and coordinate all changes
  • Chair the Change Approval Board (CAB) twice weekly, ensuring decisions are made promptly
  • Liaise with Change Approvers and stakeholders to capture approvals, feedback, and risks
  • Deliver regular reporting on change performance and metrics
  • Track failed changes, conduct post-mortems, and identify improvement opportunities
  • Set up and manage Standard Change templates and documentation
  • Support the continuous improvement of change processes across the enterprise

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience with ServiceNow, particularly the Change module and reporting dashboards
  • Experience managing or coordinating IT change in a multi-supplier (SIAM) environment
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise under pressure
  • Background in defence or similar high-assurance environments (desirable)
