Due to continued investment, this manufacturing business at the cutting edge of technology is searching for the perfect Senior Systems Engineer to join their growing team in Warton on an initial 12-month contract. This role pays £44.69 per hour.
The successful candidate will be awarded with this phenomenal opportunity to work with a true leader on some of the biggest challenges and most advanced technologies in the industry.
The Role
Within the Senior Systems Engineer role, you'll be responsible for:
* Supporting the development of design solutions to agreed time, cost and quality to support project and business milestones
* Ensuring that technical and performance requirements of the combat systems and products are correctly identified, and working at the relevant point of the engineering lifecycle
* Providing technical support to shipbuilder installation and/or integration activities
You
To succeed within the Senior Systems Engineer role, you'll have experience in a similar position, and you'll ideally have the following skills:
* Degree level qualification (or equivalent experience) in relevant STEM subject
* Understanding of the system engineering lifecycle and be able to apply good systems engineering practices to your work
* Understanding of system design techniques such as Object-Oriented Analysis/Design
* Recognition of relevant engineering standards, including safety and environmental regulation
