Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

A Staines based company that specialise in bespoke, high precision test machinery for a variety of industries including Automotive, Motorsport, Civil Engineering and Energy is seeking to recruit a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer.

The Role

This position will involve a range of mechanical engineering and design related to bespoke test rigs and machinery. This will include using 3D CAD to perform design work related to mechanical components such as hydraulics, gears and actuators. Welded structure design, design for manufacture and FEA will also be involved. This will also include conceptual design for new mechanisms and projects.

This is an excellent opportunity to work for a true engineering company which has been in business for more than 60 years providing bespoke machinery solutions to some of the biggest names in Engineering worldwide.

Experience

Ideal candidates will have similar design experience from a high precision mechanical engineering type environment ideally including hydraulics or special purpose / bespoke machinery.
