With cutting-edge facilities in Manchester and a collaborative, forward-thinking culture, they are seeking a talented Senior Electronics Engineer to join their growing engineering team.
As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development and delivery of complex electronic systems and products from concept through to production. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including firmware, mechanical and manufacturing engineers to bring innovative ideas to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of analogue and digital electronic circuits for new and existing products.
- Take projects from initial concept and requirements definition through design validation, testing and production handover.
- Perform schematic capture, PCB layout reviews and design verification.
- Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
- Collaborate with global engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure designs meet performance, cost and reliability targets.
- Support product life-cycle activities including failure analysis, design improvements and technical documentation.
About You:
- Degree qualified in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in electronic design, ideally within a manufacturing or product development environment.
- Strong knowledge of analogue/digital circuit design, microcontrollers and power electronics.
- Proficient in schematic capture and PCB design tools (e.g. Altium, OrCAD, KiCad).
- Experience with design for EMC, manufacturability and reliability.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication and project management skills.
- A proactive team player who enjoys technical challenges and innovation.
