Senior Integration Engineer (Electronic Warfare)

Warton (hybrid working, 3 - 4 days a week onsite)

12 month contract

£81.05/hour Umbrella or £60/hour PAYE

Must be eligible for SC clearance

Can start on BPSS with SC in flight

Are you a seasoned Systems Engineer with Electronic Warfare experience? This is a fantastic opportunity to join BAE Systems' cutting-edge Localising Typhoon Electronic Warfare Programme (LTEWP), supporting the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF).

Role: LTEWP Senior Integration Engineer

Location: Warton (3-4 days onsite per week)

Duration: 12 months

Rate: £81.05/hr (Umbrella) | £60/hr (PAYE)

Clearance: Must be eligible for SC clearance (Can start on BPSS with SC in progress)

About the Role

You'll join the LTEWP Integrated Project Team (IPT) and act as a Subject Matter Expert, focusing on the analysis and development of requirements for Electronic Warfare Database (EWDB) systems. You'll help shape and define technical requirements that support frontline operational capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse operational requirements and identify capability shortfalls
  • Assess and interpret LTEWP EWDB Concept of Operations, System Architecture, and Design
  • Generate and review technical requirements and specifications
  • Produce Statement of Requirements and support Statement of Works
  • Lead technical workshops with suppliers and RSAF end-users

Essential Skills & Experience

  • In-depth knowledge of Electronic Warfare (EW) concepts
  • Experience with EW databases and operational support systems
  • Skilled in analysing parametric data for EW database structuring
  • Proven track record in requirements capture and specification writing
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Degree in a relevant STEM subject (or equivalent experience)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Highly Desirable

  • Ex-RAF Air Warfare Centre (Database Squadron) experience
  • Familiarity with Rational DOORS or similar requirements tools
  • Knowledge of EWDB systems/toolset design, development, and testing
  • Experience engaging with suppliers at an engineering level
