An exciting opportunity to join an established, expanding electro-optics specialist with a Global footprint as a Production Controller on a permanent basis in Horsham.
My client is a Leading Design & Manufacturing business, with several sites across the UK supporting solutions to the Naval, Land and Security sectors with cutting-edge technology and services.
You will be responsible for:
- Taking Sales Order Information to generate Production Requirements and Planning.
- Establish Purchasing and Production needs to achieve time and cost criteria for each project.
- Planning overall manufacturing requirements on a multi project basis.
- Organising kitting for shop built assemblies ensuring kits are in a suitable state for manufacture.
- Liaising with Production/Manufacturing Engineering on manufacturing procedures and problems.
- Liaising with Project Managers and the Engineering Department.
- Preparing cost to date and cost to complete reports.
- Assisting with the generation of new procedure, methods, and flow diagrams for the MRP system.
- Ensuring that all documentation is in accordance with BS EN9001.
You will have:
- Experience of working with an MRP/ERP system
- A manufacturing background
- An excellent attention to detail
