Principle Engineer - Propulsion - 6 Month initial contract…
A great opportunity has come along with one of the UK's leading Aerospace & Defence businesses, who are currently looking to recruit a Principle Engineer (propulsion) to work at one of their biggest sites. The role is an initial 6-month contract and is paying £48.75 per hour (inside IR35) there is a view of starting the right candidate ASAP.
The Role
Principal Engineer - Propulsion
Barrow-in-furness (very open to remote/hybrid if needed!)
£48.75 per hour inside IR35

You
To succeed within this role, you'll have experience in a similar position, and you'll ideally have the following skills:
- Mechanical Engineer with background in rotating machinery and / or Fluid systems (i.e water, oil, steam, etc)
- Significant experience in both design and manufacture of systems or components
- Desirable to have experience in verification & validation and testing (i.e. FATs) - Excellent communication skills and able to manage stakeholders
- Experience in product non-conformances / change requests
- Excellent technical writing skills
- Able to work as part of a small team, as well as autonomously
