My client is a leading manufacturer of custom-made steel door solutions in the Stoke on Trent area. They are looking for a Powder Coat Supervisor to join them ASAP on a permanent basis working day shifts.
This role focuses on supporting the Powder Coating Team to ensure smooth operations while maintaining a strong emphasis on workplace health and safety.
This is a truly exciting time to join a market leading organisation with aggressive growth plans who are relocating to a brand new site in April 2024 in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
You will be responsible for:
- Promoting a safe, clean, and organised working environment by setting the standard for the Powder Coating Team.
- Ensuring that all NCRs are documented, and necessary preventive actions are implemented.
- Reporting any equipment or operational faults to the Production Supervisor and Maintenance Team.
- Providing support to the Senior Management Team in achieving production goals.
- Conducting regular toolbox talks with the Powder Coating Team to enhance safety and performance.
- Assisting in ensuring that all production outputs meet quality standards and are "Right First Time."
You will have:
- Powder Coating experience
- Previous experience supervising a Powder Coating Team
- A familiarity with modern manufacturing processes
- FLT License (desirable)
