Working as part of a growing team, you will join this leading Defence business and will contribute to any one of a number of projects
The Role
- Key accountabilities for the Technical Author are:
- Undertaking technical reviews of design change guidance information for Alterations & Additions and Class Modifications
- Liaise and build relationships with documentation sponsors
- Provide technical guidance in area of expertise
- Challenge problems or issues in area of expertise
- Liaising with stakeholders to provide a good level of technical query feedback
- Working independently as well as in a team
- Provide specialist knowledge in responding to engineering queries raised internal and external stakeholders
- Provide extant design information in the form of technical publications and drawings from sources where partners do not have access
You
To be considered for the role of Technical Author, you should be able to demonstrate:
- Electrical or mechanical engineering experience
- Engineering equipment experience
- Defence background preferred although not essential
- Strong communication skills
- Stakeholder management
- Flexibility
- Team player
The Package
The salary on offer for the Technical Author role is up to £425000 as well as excellent company benefits
