Barrow in Furness
£24.36 an hour Umbrella Inside IR35
6 Month Contract initially.
This is a great opportunity to work within one of the UK's leading Defence organisations based In Barrow in Furness. Some flexibility for remote working occasionally if as it is very IT based. Will be predominantly on site but the manager is flexible. Hours are 7am-3:30 Monday - Thursday 7am-12pm Fridays.
Reporting to the Stores & Logistics Manager, to safely and accurately receipt, store, pick and pack, dispatch items. Using appropriate IT systems, equipment and processes to meet customer requirements.
Skills:
- Experience of working in a warehouse & logistics environment
- Working knowledge of SAP (warehouse management) and other ERP systems, MS Excel and Outlook
- Fork Lift Truck Licence Holder
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to use own initiative
- Knowledge of and practical experience in stores procedures.
- Customer Focus, experience in delivering customer service with a positive and can do attitude.
- Methodical and thorough approach to work, and the ability to multi-task and work at pace whilst maintaining high standard of compliance.
