Duration: 12 Month Contract
Rate: £62.02 per hour
Role Overview:
Our Team manages the full project lifecycle from requirement capture, to implementation, commissioning, hand over and close out of not just the future capability projects to enable Dreadnought trials, but projects to ensure the operational capability of SMITE is available and proactively maintained. Over the next 2 years more than 30 Projects will need to be managed successfully in support of this, with new projects coming online daily. To ensure this happens we liaise directly with the customer to support the business case development and provision funding, as well as with procurement supply chain to ensure successful completion.
Role Requirement:
- Experienced project monitoring and control capability
- Excellent communication.

- Ability to problem solve both dynamically and collaboratively
- Be willing to get involved in all aspects of the projects
- Be experience of building relationships and negotiating outcomes with stakeholders.
- Make judgments and recommendations based on factual information.
- Manage a number of projects from requirement capture to final handover.
- Stakeholder engagement/management/influencing
- Management of LCM reviews - 1B/2A, bid process.
- Development of robust Risk and Opportunity Management plans including undertaking Pre Mortems and robust mitagation actions.
- Support commercial with invitation to tender process, being integral within the supplier down selection process and managing Suppliers.
- Drive product quality, to scheduled cost and time scales.
- Provide support to other tasks/projects where needed.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
