In performing the ILS and Hardware Lead role, you will take ownership of the Reliability and Maintainability analysis, predictions and planning around spares and repairs, while also being involved in the overall physical and environmental compliance of the solution, while meeting relevant mandates and statutory requirements.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience undertaking Reliability & Maintainability analysis and prediction (RM&T);

  • Experience planning and running maintainability & testability demonstrations;

  • Preparation of Logistic Information Repository (LIR) and Logistic Support Analysis Record (LSAR);

  • Production of Level of Repair Analysis (LoRA);

  • Spares and Repairs modelling;

  • Production or support in preparing ILS documentation and Technical Publications;

  • Familiarisation of military communication hardware and environmental conditions;

  • Use of engineering methodologies, tools and processes;

  • Ability to work with teams of likeminded & complimentary engineers;

  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills, with the ability to track & report progress;

  • Good technical writing ability;

  • Additional desirable skills and experience could include

  • Ambitious, high-calibre engineers with a natural appreciation for technology;

  • Good academic background in relevant subject, for example Electrical/Electronic Systems, Systems Engineering, Physics;

  • Familiarisation of commercial IT, including servers, networking appliances and infrastructure equipment;

  • Familiarisation of hardware integrating & ruggedisation into Land Platforms;

  • Electrical engineering disciplines e.g. BS7671 qualified;

  • CAD experience / familiarity desirable;

  • Understanding of designing safe products;

  • Installation experience within customer environments;

  • Familiarity with Export Control and ITAR;
