Due to continued investment, this leading-edge manufacturing business is currently in the midst of a huge recruitment drive and is looking for a Hardware Team Leader to join their growing team in Rochester on a 6 month contract.

This is a phenomenal opportunity to work with a true leader on some of the biggest challenges and most advanced technologies in the industry.

The Role


Within the role of Hardware Team Leader you'll be responsible for:

  • Managerial and technical leadership of an electronics design team
  • Work package management; cost, schedule, risk & opportunities
  • Ensuring development programme execution in accordance with the hardware development plan

In addition, you will also provide technical governance and ensuring adherence to company design processes and leading cost & performance trade-offs.

You

To succeed within the role of Hardware Team Leader, you'll have experience in a similar position, and you'll ideally have the following skills:

  • Proven experience of both electronics design and programmable logic (PLD/FPGA) design practices
  • Proven experience of optimising solutions and minimising impacts from dependencies
  • Proven experience in product architectural design, performing engineering trade-offs & defining technical requirements

In addition, you must be able to demonstrate high performance and achievement in leadership and management of engineering teams through a full product development lifecycle and be eligible and willing to go through SC security clearance.
