I'm currently recruiting for a manufacturer of high-precision measurement equipment based near Guildford, who are looking to hire an Electronics Engineers on a permanent basis. The role is offering between £35,000 and £50,000 p/a depending on experience, with additional benefits included.
Reporting directly to the engineering manager alongside a small team of engineers, you'll be responsible for the design and development of a range of new measurement and sensor equipment, as well as modifications and improvements to existing products. You'll need to have a strong background within electronics and hardware design, using CAD software such as Altium, Solidworks Electrical or Ranger XL. You'll also be able to demonstrate experience working with microprocessors as well as analogue and digital electronics; an ideal applicant will also have RF design experience however this is not essential. Any experience with embedded C or C# software would be a massive advantage, as would EMC testing of equipment for use in hazardous or explosive environments.
