I'm looking for an Estimator to join an award-winning fire protection business based in Halifax.
Role Responsibilities:
- Pricing works for the business units and as part of the large bid team
- Liaising with clients to understand the scope
- Site visits and precontract meetings as required
- Liaising with operational staff to understand the costs associated with delivering the project
- Developing pricing models and rate schedules for different environments and sectors
- Providing the operational teams with clear scope and budget parameters to assist with the profitable delivery of contracts
- Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing
- Liaising with clients to resolve quotation queries
- Developing a menu of prices for an 'automated' response to small work pricing
Experience Required:
- Pricing of passive fire and fire door works desirable but not essential
- Pricing of construction works and construction pricing models
- Microsoft office
Qualifications Required:
- Estimating or equivalent to HND standard
The salary is £40,000 to £55,000 plus an excellent benefits package.
