The Role: Project Control Data Analyst
Contract: 12-months initially plus extensions
Rate: £33.25 per hour Umbrella.
IR35 status: Inside IR35.
Location: Warton
Job Description | As a Project Control Data Analyst, you will have an appetite for analysing performance data in line with contractual reporting requirements, and have the ability to turn data into management information to support business decisions. This role will provide you with the opportunity to play a pivotal role in key contracts, in a well-structured business that offers career development and on-going support. |

Responsibilities | The successful candidate will be required to perform tasks suitable to the internal level of this role. The role will contain, but will not be limited to, the following: Proactively working with key internal stakeholders to collate and analyse cost and schedule performance data for multiple projects Through the application of data analytical toolsets and methodologies, you will use current and past performance data to identify trends, and predict future performance Confirm and validate all data and forecast information entered into the cost/schedule toolset each reporting period, ensuring all checks and balances are performed Analyse cost and schedule performance variances against agreed project plans, and assist in identifying route cause and corrective actions Provide key performance data inputs into customer reports for senior management review, in line with contractual monthly timescales |

The Individual | You should have an analytical mind, strong business acumen, problem-solving and attention to detail skills. You will be a logical and creative thinker with excellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbally enabling you to deal with a fast-paced environment along with the ability to prioritise workloads and to know when to seek guidance. Good quantitative and analytical skills / experience Ability to analyse and interpret data with a high level of attention to detail Ability to present complex data in a simplified format, tailored to the relevant audience Validation of data analysis, communicating analysis & key insights, Understanding analysis constraints Advanced in the use of Microsoft Excel Understanding of Project Control / Project Management techniques would be an advantage The candidate must be good with Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint and Project have excellent skills in Excel and Outlook Communication, Team Working and Motivation are Essential |
