Job Title: Cost Engineer

Location: Warrington - Hybrid Working

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000

A leader in the Nuclear Industry is looking for a Senior Cost Engineer to work in their office in Warrington as part of their team. This is a hybrid working role and is a great opportunity to work for a leader in the market with Projects all over the UK.

The Role

As a Cost Engineer, you'll be responsible for forecasting the cost of projects based on past knowledge and industry research and adjusting estimations and outcomes based on changing requirements. In addition, you'll be contributing to time allocation and management of project schedules and anticipating potential risks and devising solutions to prevent them. You'll be reporting into the Project Controls Manager and feeding back the forecasting across the lifecycle of the project.

The Person

To be successful in the role of Cost Engineer, you'll need have experience of a similar role within an engineering organisation using various contracting methodologies such as NEC3 and NEC4. You'll need previous experience of supporting more junior team members in a cost estimating or cost engineering environment. Experience within the Nuclear sector would be looked upon favourably.

The Package

As a Cost Engineer, you'll be on a salary of up to £55,000 depending on experience and is available on a hybrid working arrangement.
