£55.75 an hour Umbrella Inside IR35
This is a great opportunity to join one of the UKs leading Defence organisations based in Barrow or North East with some travel to other sites (Mainly customers in the North East). Hybrid working. 2-3 days per week on site.
We are looking for a Cost Analyst to manage the costs of one of Strategic Manufacturing's suppliers in the North East although this could stretch to other suppliers as well. The immediate need is to focus on one of these suppliers.
- We are looking for a candidate that is also confident and competent on Microsoft Excel as they're a lot of spreadsheets and data to review.
- Experience of working on contracts with different pricing types. Whether that be Firm, Fixed, Cost plus, Ascertained.
- Experience of Supplier cost management / earned value management would also be useful as well as Commercial awareness.
- SAP Experience
The tasks this candidate would undertake would include but not be limited to:
- Liaising with stakeholders
- Liaising with Supplier stakeholders (potentially at Senior level)
- Challenging the supplier / having difficult conversations
- Reviewing weekly labour reports
- Reconciling monthly pay applications
- Resolving payment disputes
- Reviewing contract documentation
- Reviewing earned value management data / cost performance indexes
- Maintaining records and cost trackers
