Due to continued investment, this world-renowned business is currently in the midst of a huge recruitment drive and is looking for a (Remote Working) Business Intelligence Developer to join their growing team on a 24 month contract.

The Role


Within the role of Business Intelligence Developer, you'll be responsible for:

  • Document, develop, test and implement Management Information (MI) and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions in line with business requirements.
  • Applies technical strategies, policies, standards and practices within own area of responsibility.
  • Manages methods, tools, techniques; selecting appropriately from plan-driven/predictive approaches or more adaptive (iterative and agile) approaches to development.

In addition, you will also be responsible for developing and maintaining procedures and documentation for database and identifies, evaluates and manages the adoption of appropriate database administration tools and processes, including enhancing automation.

You

To succeed within the role of Business Intelligence Developer, you'll have minimum 2 years experience in a similar position in the Aerospace and Defence Industry, and you'll ideally have the following skills:

  • Minimum degree level in a numerical subject and/or Computer Science Degree, with further business/professional qualifications preferable
  • Well-developed skills and capability around the creation, understanding and presentation of business solutions utilising a combination of COTS toolsets and ability to present proposed solutions in an effective manner.
  • High understanding of the various corporate Business Intelligence processes, tools and techniques
  • Good level of commercial awareness and budgetary management capability.

In addition, you must be eligible and willing to go through SC security clearance.
