Role Description
The primary role of the Assistant Quality Engineer is to support the function ensuring it remains compliant to the local business Quality Management Systems. Recently qualified/ new member of the Quality team, performing simple routine tasks that are planned to provide experience and familiarisation with the QA staff, methods, practices and programs of the company. An understanding of daily prioritisation of their work and the need to escalate problems where required. Able to carry out routine quality activities in accordance with relevant processes and procedures.
Main Responsibilities
- Work as a supporting member of the Quality team Undertake routine Quality activities with supervision
- Manage own development
- Able to access the local Management System documentation e.g.
- Policies, procedures and processes
- Liaise/ interface with appropriate areas of the business to ensure work schedules are met and results effectively communicated and deployed
- Use of Company computer systems software as appropriate.

- Confident to participate in facilitated improvement workshops
- Open mindedness and willingness to get things right
- Capable supporting the delivery of a detailed programme of work
- Ability to critique and tailor issues and ideas in written reports and presentations ensuring accuracy and clarity of meaning
- Able to build / improve effective relationships and deal with all levels including awkward contacts
- Ability to deliver results
