Our client is a leading prime contractor and systems integrator responsible for a wide portfolio of high technology programmes, complex integration, training and through-life support, spanning the defence and civil sectors. They are a leading provider of systems engineering, software development and complex programme management for global security, cyber, civil and commercial markets.
This role is for a Senior Systems Engineer (SE) to work within the RMS UK Engineering & Technology (E&T) Team on the design, development, and testing for Airborne Mission Systems and Ground Based Training Systems.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake a variety of technical functions, including technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and analysis. They will ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions and acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. This will be achieved through the translation of customer requirements into hardware and software specifications using a variety of techniques such as functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies.
You will be responsible for:
* Requirements analysis
* Systems Design
* Support Integration, Test and verification
* Support to Airworthiness
You will have experience of:
* Airborne Mission Systems and Training Systems development
* Practical experience of Model Based Systems Engineering (SysML, Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect);
