A rapidly growing supplier of special purpose machinery to the nuclear sector is looking for a number of Workshop Technicians to join their growing team, which has tripled in size over the last couple of years. The business has experience on every licenced nuclear site in the UK and is involved in projects from design concept right through to manufacturing and subsequent commissioning.

The Role

As one of their Workshop Technicians, you'll assemble, build and test mechanical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic plant and equipment whilst supporting Project Managers in planning and executing the assembly, test, inspection, and site installation aspects of projects. In addition, you'll complete assembly, testing and commissioning documentation and undertake general workshop duties including maintenance and part inspection.

To succeed in the role of Workshop Technician you'll need to have experience of a similar role with either a mechanical or electro-mechanical focus. Previous commissioning experience is essential.

The Package

As a Workshop Technician within this business, you'll receive a salary of up to £35,000 and other benefits including pension (6% employer contribution), private medical insurance and 25 days' (plus bank holidays). In addition, the company is committed to both training and development along with career progression.
