The Role
Within the role of a Technical Author, you’ll be responsible for:
The preparation of initial issue typhoon technical publications and subsequent amendments of these in line with departmental procedures.
Assessing and incorporating internal and external customer requests.
Maintaining the validity of management information to ensure accurate configuration control is maintained.
You
To succeed within the role of Technical Author, you’ll have experience in a similar position, and you’ll ideally have the following skills:
Experience of modern electronic production toolsets and Standard Generalised Mark-up Language or Extensible Mark-up Language.
IT skills, in particular conversant with the use of Microsoft Office.
Experience in the Aerospace industry or the operation/maintenance of military aircraft.
In addition, good interpersonal skills with emphasis on two-way communication and team working will be helpful.
