Within the role of Supply Chain Specialist, you’ll be responsible for:
Managing, supporting and/or preparing outputs and deliverables.
Managing and supporting or negotiating all commercial, financial, and schedule elements of the subcontracts/project and any authorised changes in line with departmental procedures
Pro-actively supporting and delivering effective supplier management and service delivery.
In addition, you’ll also identify and implement business improvements resulting in cost saving opportunities.
To succeed within the role of Supply Chain Specialist, you’ll have experience in a similar position, and you’ll ideally have the following skills:
Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a business or engineering discipline or relevant working experience in the field of Supply Chain.
Working towards CIPS qualification or equivalent.
Experience in a Supply Chain environment, with experience managing a wide range of services, commodities or equipment.
In addition, any knowledge of Supply Chain processes and interfaces between the business, project, partners, suppliers and customers will be helpful.
