Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for a Software Engineer to add to their talented, hardworking team in Warton on an initial 12-month contract.

Striving for innovation and creativity, you can ensure no two days will be the same. This role will be offering £46.18 an hour and is a hybrid role with 3 days onsite per week.

The Role

Within the role of Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

  • Development and reading of requirements in UML

  • Co-ordination of design solutions and interfaces across multiple mission systems equipment

  • Requirements traceability using DOORS & Statemate.

  • Unit testing with the use of AdaTEST/Vectorcast.

  • W/SW integration testing with the use of a Model and Test Environment

You

To succeed within the role of Software Engineer, you'll have experience within a similar position, and you'll ideally have the following skills:

  • Degree, HND or equivalent and approximately 3-5 years' experience in a relevant Engineering discipline.

  • Work with minimal supervision, be pro-active, diligent, and have strong team-working & communications skills and be committed to a delivery culture

  • Problem solving skills and a Proactive approach to problem solving

  • Experience of working in a collaborative environment with internal and external stakeholders

  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)

  • Competent in one or more of the following software toolsets and languages; Ada, C, Statemate, DOORS, Vectorcast, Perl, SQL, DCL
