The Role
Within the Senior Structures Engineer role, you’ll be responsible for:
Planning, estimating and controlling structures engineering tasks for activities within span of control, performing tasks to cost and on time to meet customer requirements and business needs.
Ensuring the technical content of the work, including deliverables, is acceptable to the customer and utilises the most efficient engineering methods available.
Ensuring all work is compatible with the departmental quality policy and that departmental procedures are followed. Agree with line manager and deploy structures engineering methods, processes and data for activities within span of control
You
To succeed within the Senior Structures Engineer role, you’ll have experience in a similar position, and you’ll ideally have the following skills:
Sufficient ability to work on programmes such as Microsoft Office Outlook, CATIA V5, Hypersizer, Microsoft Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
NASTRAN/PATRAN skills
Matlab/Simulink skills
Communication, Team Working, Motivation Skills
Classical structural analysis methods
Engineering degree or BSc equivalent
