We are looking for a Senior FPGA Engineer to join the existing team 5 days a week on site in Gloucester on an initial 6 month contract to work supporting Government and Customers in helping them to monitor threats, detect crimes and investigate and prosecute criminals.
As a Senior FPGA Engineer, you will:
- be expected to lead small teams of 1-3 junior engineers, and provide support and mentoring through their activities
- be involved in the full lifecycle of product development, from concept, design, through delivery, and into support

To succeed within the role of Senior FPGA Engineer, you'll have experience in a similar position and you'll have the following skills:
- Previously worked in the Defence industry
- Extensive hands-on experience developing codes using VHDL
- Familiar with at least 1 modern FPGA tool chain (e.g. Xilinx, Achronix or similar)
Due to security nature of this role, candidate must have live SC security clearance.
