The European arm of a US owner operator of Hyperscale Data Centres is looking for a Senior Architect. This permanent role has been created to support the launch and rapid expansion of the business across Europe - this growth is in part due to acquisition and in part due to new site builds.
The Role
As their Senior Architect you'll be part of a time that drives design and engineering within the construction process. You'll manage high level campus and building design, specification development, submittal review, design document review, oversight of construction and participation in onsite walkthroughs. As part of this role you'll be presented with complex architectural considerations and be asked to bring them to resolution - you'll also evaluate designs and provide engineering insights to balance CAPEX costs

To succeed in the role of Senior Architect you'll have experience of a similar role along with experience of space planning, structural pre-designs, communication between spaces, evacuation routes and value engineering. Sector wise you'll need to have some experience of data centres and / or mission critical buildings such as hospitals, power stations etc.
