Sales Administrator - Tysons, Virginia

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Tysons, VA - home working options available

Salary: $45-55,000.00 + Healthcare Benefits

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting a growing sales and operations team. Working both locally and internationally, you will assist with the full sales cycle, from customer quotations, order management through to solution delivery. You will play a key role in ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction and developing local relationships with key, strategic partners. In addition, you will also provide general administrative support to the local sales team.

The Role

You will be responsible for several duties, tasks and initiatives which are expected to evolve as the office grows and matures.

Tasks include:

Prepare customer quotations in line with requests.

Work closely with partners to understand stock volumes, lead times and anything else deemed relevant.

Interact regularly with customers to keep them updated on their delivery schedules.

Build and develop a strong understanding of numerous vendor‐opportunity registration processes.

Process orders on internal systems using the correct methodology and follow them through to completion.

Order management including tracking, datacentre notifications, stock allocation and Portable On Demand Storage.

Develop relationships with key partners to understand their service capabilities.

The Person

To be successful, you'll have the following skills and experience:

Experience of working in an administration role in a fast past environment.

The ability to work autonomously with the self‐motivation to drive things forward.

Have a high level of professionalism and capable of remaining calm under pressure.

Be well organized, resourceful and possess good written and oral communication skills.

Have good understanding of the technology industry and ideally have working experience within it.

Hold strong time management skills and capable of working in a fast‐paced environment.
