Would you like to join an international defence company to support their clients by improving the capability, reliability and availability of their most critical assets? Due to continued investment, this global business is currently looking for a Requirements & Acceptance Manager to join their existing team in Bristol (hybrid working) on a 12 month contract basis.

The Role

As a Requirements & Acceptance Manager, your responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

  • Understanding customer needs and eliciting formal requirements
  • Deriving and manage requirements for systems and sub-systems
  • Ensure requirements compliance is maintained throughout the lifecycle of the project
  • Define acceptance methodologies for system and sub-system requirements
  • Manage the Assurance and Acceptance process with our customers and suppliers
  • Support system certification

You

To succeed within the role of a Requirements & Acceptance Manager, you must have experience in a similar position within the Marine or Defence Industry and have the following skills:

  • Degree level qualification in STEM subject (Science/Technology/Engineering/Maths) or equivalent industry / armed forces experience
  • Experience in Requirements elicitation and management and/or acceptance of complex systems
  • Experience of using requirements management tools (e.g. DOORS)
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering principles

Please note that due to security nature of this role, offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining SC security clearance. The vetting process is delivered by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) and will require candidates to provide proof of residency in the UK of 5 years or longer.
