The Director of Proposal Management is responsible for leading, planning, scheduling, and overseeing the timely development and delivery of high-quality responses to business opportunities, from pre-RFP to post-submission activities, in a dynamic environment.
The successful candidate will:
Work closely with sales management and proposal development members to create, and coordinate proposal submission for corporate and government opportunities.
The right person for this position will have strong writing, research and interpersonal skills needed to effectively present our company's story to key internal stakeholders and deliver communications content that will arm our sales team with the tools they need to win.
Manage, coordinate, and facilitate RFP processes including researching, authoring, and editing assigned responses to specific questions contained within RFPs.
Serve as a responsible leader in facilitating responses from internal teams assembled for each project, which typically include sales, marketing, finance, client services, supplier services.
Analyze solicitation requirements to ensure thorough and comprehensive responses are created.
Maintain and update RFP content library and proposal database. Keep the content library scrupulously current, on-message, well-written, and accurate.
Act as liaison with marketing and subject matter experts, product management, IT, professional services, clinical operations, and sales to revise and improve answers in the RFP content library.
With input from marketing and sales, review and update proposal templates and accompanying standard presentations.
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university required; or four to six years of equivalent work experience in an inside sales environment with a minimum of two years in sales support administration
Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, Adobe Acrobat
Strong writing and document preparation skills
Strong business sales strategy acumen
Good customer care skills
Good written and verbal communication
Accuracy and attention to detail with strong organizational skills
An ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
