An exciting standalone opportunity has arisen for a start-up global technology company based in Arlington, VA. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day processing of key operational functions including the procurement of technology and services, order management, customers services and other administrative tasks.
The Role
You will be responsible for several duties, tasks and initiatives which are expected to evolve as the office grows and matures.
Tasks include:
Procurement of all US orders - both direct and indirect
Develop systems catalogue, creating new part codes, product descriptions etc
Order management, including backlog reporting.
Onboarding new vendors and distributors
Warehouse management with logistics partners
Support Export team with any US imports or exports
Manage the customer returns process.
Support and post-sale queries
Contribute to the development of preferred suppliers list.
The Person
To be successful, you'll have the following skills and experience:
Experience of working in a procurement function with previous ERP experience.
The ability to work autonomously with the self‐motivation to drive things forward.
Have a high level of professionalism and capable of remaining calm under pressure.
Be well organized, resourceful and possess good written and oral communication skills.
Hold strong time management skills and capable of working in a fast‐paced environment.
