The Role
Within the Principle Engineer role, you’ll be responsible for:
Supporting the Engineering Manager in the delivery and implementation of the dreadnought product verification strategy.
Supporting the development, maintenance and delivery of product verification schedule and lead/support inspections as required.
Supporting the production of monthly reports.
In addition, you’ll also represent the PV function at product safety related groups.
You
To succeed within the Principal Engineer role, you’ll have experience in a similar position, and you’ll ideally have the following skills:
Submarine build / operations knowledge and experience.
Expertise in Electrical, Electro-Mechanical and / or Mechatronics.
Experience of Submarine Inspection, Verification and Validation activities.
IT systems literate
In addition, any experience of working with MoD or suppliers and third parties will be helpful.
