I'm currently recruiting for Power Systems Studies Engineers to support major onshore energy projects with a leading global engineering consultancy.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation delivering complex power infrastructure solutions within the energy sector.
The Role
You will support onshore projects delivering detailed power systems studies across captive generation and grid-connected systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering comprehensive power systems studies
- Equipment sizing and technical analysis
- Load flow, short circuit and dynamic motor starting studies
- Harmonic analysis, arc flash and transient stability studies
- Running EMT software studies
- Overseeing and coordinating third-party vendors
- Supporting projects involving captive power generation (with or without grid connection)
Required Experience
- Proven experience delivering power system studies within energy / oil & gas / LNG environments
- Strong working knowledge of ETAP (intermediate level minimum)
- Experience across grid-connected and captive generation systems
- Comfortable working in an office-based project environment (4 days onsite)
