As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll be working at the cutting edge of technology and will be responsible for the design of highly reliable mechanical components and subsystems whilst using analytical tools to drive design decisions and selecting, working with and managing suppliers and manufacturers.

To succeed in the role of Mechanical Design Engineer you'll need a proven track record of designing specialised machinery, mechatronics systems or complex mechanisms. You'll also have a proven track record of designing for multiple production processes including CNC machining and sheet metal fabrication. Any experience of draughting to BS8888 with the use of GD&T would certainly hold you in good stead.
