This high technology business that operates from a converted cotton mill with over 175,000 square feet of floor space across 7 floors and is looking for an IT Manager to be responsible for all day to day activities associated with the Information Systems and Communications infrastructure.
The Role
As their IT Manager you'll monitor, develop and manager all IT applications and infrastructure in order to ensure smooth running of all services, systems and applications. In addition, you'll be responsible for managing the server hardware, operating systems, internet connectivity, firewall, LAN infrastructure, Exchange and SQL services, backups and disaster recovery plans as well as applications like ERP and PLM. You'll also have responsibility for the IT budget and a team of 2 IT professionals.

To succeed in the role of IT Manager you'll need to have experience of a similar role that has included the following:
- VMware virtualisation
- Windows Server operating systems
- Information security
- Maintenance of software distribution systems
- Microsoft Exchange / Active Directory
- Ideally ERP and PLM systems experience
