A global name in energy solutions is seeking an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to join their dynamic team in Bedford.

As an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge solutions for nuclear power plants. From creating wiring diagrams to specifying control systems, your expertise will drive safety and performance enhancements while supporting their global clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing wiring diagrams and Bills of Materials.
  • Specifying control systems and instruments.
  • Maintaining calibration register for instruments.
  • Interpreting design requirements from customers.
  • Collaborating with suppliers on system delivery.
  • Modifying PLC programs for optimal performance.
  • Writing test plans and commissioning systems.
  • Providing technical support to various teams.
  • Networking and attending technical meetings.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • BEng in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (2.1 level pass or equivalent).
  • Extensive experience in specifying instrumentation.
  • Proficiency in PLCs and Data Acquisition systems.
  • Ability to make minor control system modifications.]
