The Background:
The Global Mobility / Compensation Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analysing and processing assignment-related compensation data. Reporting to the Global Mobility / Compensation Manager, you will support the international assignment team on all expatriate compensation related matters.
The Role:
You'll be responsible for:
- Preparing initial international assignment compensation cost projections
- Preparing initial drafts of international assignment letters
- Processing tax equalisation settlements and tracking balances
- Requesting and tracking receipts of global compensation data from various sources, maintaining files
- Identifying, analysing and reviewing international compensation balance sheets, payroll instruction reports, and shadow payroll reports, ensuring compilation and calculations are complete and accurate and address questions as needed
- Reconciling allowances paid through payroll with regular audits against payroll instructions provided, resolving discrepancies through communication with global client payrolls
- Monitoring and calculating adjustments needed to assignment allowances and deductions, communicating the information to all appropriate contacts
- Interfacing with clients' tax provider regarding standard reporting and questions
- Continuously auditing assignee information to ensure accuracy of assignment-related benefits
- Gathering and tracking worldwide compensation data from payroll and other sources, generating compensation reports for shadow payroll and tax year-end reporting purposes
- Updating and maintaining the international budget forecasting tool
- Maintaining and enhancing relations with internal departments and external suppliers / partners in regards to exceeding client expectations
- Providing support on projects and other duties as directed
- Participating in new client set-ups, including entry of assignment data
The Person:
- Ideally from a Global Mobility background or comes with Tax or HR Benefits / Compensation / Payroll background.
- Strong analytical skills, detail oriented, proactive and strong problem-solving skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
