The Role

Within the role of Flight Control Laws Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

  • Full cycle of flight control laws development activities from requirements flown down and validation, implementation and testing and integration

  • Execution of flight control laws work packages in agile project setup

  • Interfacing with handling qualities and flight testing team on (piloted) testing of control laws baselines

  • Interaction with the Aerodynamic and Modelling teams to ensure the suitability of the Flight Dynamics Model for Flight Control Laws development.

You

To succeed within the role of Flight Control Laws Engineer, you'll have experience in a similar position, and you'll ideally have the following skills:

  • MEng or M. Sc. in aeronautical engineering or similar degree

  • 5 years of professional experience in flight control law development for fly-by-wire aircraft with demonstrated track record of delivery

  • Good understanding of flight dynamics modelling, previous professional experience in this area is a plus

  • Experience with flight control development of highly augmented aircraft configurations is beneficial
