An entrepreneurial business owner (John) is looking for a Finance Officer to join the finance team of his group of businesses in order to support the continued growth of them. These businesses cut across recruitment (JAM Recruitment), property development (SUMO Developments) and property rental (KRM Properties). This permanent role will be based between our Cheadle and Alderley Edge offices with some home working. The role certainly offers future growth potential - both our Finance Director and Finance Manager joined JAM Recruitment in a similar role to this one and have progressed their skills, career and qualifications with us. This role is an important one for the ongoing growth of the businesses and will require somebody who has worked in a fast paced and varied environment. Responsibilites will be extremely varied across all the businesses - you will be given ownership, accountability and your own finance projects alongside the day to day transactional elements of a finance role.
To succeed in this role as a Finance Officer, you'll have experience of working in a finance team along with either some level of finance qualification or a relevant numerical degree - strong numerical / mathematical skills are essential for this role as the position is likely to involve financial modelling. Sector wise, we'll consider experience of any sector although any experience of recruitment or property would be a bonus. Other skills that would hold you in good stead include budget management, financial modelling, data analysis, project management and the confidence to push back on senior employees.
