An entrepreneurial business owner is looking for a Finance and Operations Business Partner to work closely with him and the rest of the board with the primary aim of identifying, implementing and driving cohesive and efficient working practices to support the continued growth of the businesses. These businesses cut across recruitment (JAM Recruitment), property development (SUMO Developments) and property rental (KRM Properties). This permanent role will be based between our Cheadle and Alderley Edge offices with some local travel and occasional home working.

In this role you'll be acting as a conduit between the CEO and the operational areas of the business - you'll provide analytical insights on essential projects, identify (and solve) critical challenges and ensure that the board have the appropriate information to make good business decisions. This will involve working collaboratively with a variety of functions such as project planning, procurement, finance, recruitment operations and sales.

This role is a vital one for the growth of the businesses and will require somebody who has held a similar role in a fast paced and varied environment. To succeed in this role as a Finance and Operations Business Partner, you'll ideally have some level of finance qualification but, at the very minimum, will have worked extremely closely with the finance department of your previous employer(s). In addition, you'll bring flexibility along with commercial and business acumen that will help you identify opportunities for business growth and efficiency. Other skills you'll ideally have include budget management, data analysis, project management and the confidence to push back on senior employees. Sector wise, experience of either property development or recruitment would be a bonus.
