A fast-growing engineering consultancy with a £1bn+ turnover are looking to grow their Software team with the addition of an experienced Embedded Software Engineer, to be based from the offices near Bristol. The role offers a split between site and home working, with the company keeping an open mind on starting salary and package offers to attract the most experienced and talented individuals.
Reporting to the UK Software Management team, you'll be assisting on a variety of high-value projects across multiple sectors, working on a range of RTOS, Embedded Linux and UML. As a result they are keen to speak to experienced Software Engineers with a strong coding and testing background, ideally in C++, and a good understanding of UML tools. Due to the nature of projects you'll be supporting, previous experience working to standards within a safety critical industry such as Defence, Aerospace, Nuclear or Marine is desirable, as is any exposure to Cryptography relating to embedded software projects.
