A supplier of mission critical engineering solutions within the nuclear sector is looking for a permanent EC&I Engineer to join their growing team. The business has experience on every licenced nuclear site in the UK and is involved in projects from design concept right through to manufacturing and subsequent commissioning.
As their EC&I Engineer, you'll be responsible for the provision of electrical engineering elements associated with successful delivery of machine design and build projects. Working as part of a project team, you'll manage the electrical design output of the company's sub-contractors, from concept to validation. In addition to this, you'll also support bid preparation, review and check drawings against requirements along with approving subcontract design submissions
To succeed in the role of EC&I Engineer you'll need to have experience of a similar EC&I / Electrical focused role. This will ideally have been within a highly regulated industry such as nuclear. You'll need to have the ability to use a 2D drawing package along with an awareness of PLCs and the principles of electrical safety.
As a EC&I Engineer within this business, you'll receive a salary of up to £64,000 and other benefits including pension (6% employer contribution), private medical insurance, 25 days' (plus bank holidays) and flexible working. In addition, the company is committed to both training and development along with career progression.
